– THE NEW CAMERA IS SET TO BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE IN MID-OCTOBER
The new FujiFilm Instax Square SQ20 is changing the game for instant-cameras. Over the past few years, Polaroids and other vintage instant-cameras have seen a major comeback and rightfully so. It’s a lot of fun to be able to take fun photos an instantly be able to hand someone a photograph that will undoubtedly create an amazing memory. The reality is the older machines and even the newer remakes are quite large and can be a challenge to travel with. Not only that, sometimes you waste a perfectly good piece of film on a terrible photo. FujiFilm has taken all of these problems and improved on them while adding some really cool other features.
The most obvious upgrade is the size. The new mini is now small enough to fit in a small bag or even a pocket. But the most functional upgrade is the ability to preview and edit a photo before you print it. This allows you to take a bunch of photos and print out the one that came out best, meaning no more wasted film on less than stellar photos. Another awesome feature is the ability to take a 15-second video and scroll through to find the best frame and print that like you would a normal photo.
